Preparing for the launch of IFS PACsecure version 2 and IFS Global Markets PACsecure

IFS PACsecure version 2 is expected to launch in July. The IFS International Technical Committee gave the green light at their meeting in late March and now preparations are in full swing.

Version 2 improves the applicability of the standard to all kinds of packaging. Quality aspects are strengthened and the requirements will have additional clarifications. At the same time, we will introduce the IFS Global Markets PACsecure program. This program is intended for smaller, less developed packaging companies. It helps them to build up resilient product quality and safety processes gradually.
